Lost Planet: - Extreme Condition

This plate was made by Microsoft, and released long before Halo 3. It doesn't specify the Halo name or a specific Halo game. It only shows a shot of Master Chief with some non-specific Halo imagery in the background.

These plates were given out to members of the press at a Microsoft-sponsored event in the Leicester Square section of London. 600 plates were attached, brick-like, to a wall, where they were painted like an enormous mural. The plates were painted by Gorillaz designer Zombie Flesh Eaters and creative group Beat 13. The plates are numbered, and come with a picture of the master mural, showing you how to use your number to find your plate's place in the master mural.

This plate was available in Germany. It came with two skins. It's called a Halo plate, but it really doesn't appear to have any connection to the Halo games at all. It's a generic army green, so maybe it's Master Chief green, but the ring looks nothing like Halo.

This plate was available for purchase from the website gameplay.co.uk. They ship to the US, but in poor packing, which is why the one pictured is broken. They said they would only replace it if I paid to return this plate, and the next plate would be shipped in similar packaging anyway, so the database gets a broken plate. If they ever decide to replace the faceplate, I'll replace the photo. :)
